Epic Games recently announced, via the official Fortnite Status Twitter profile, that in view of the Season 2 of the Chapter 3 Of Fortnite there is a period of inactivity in order to allow proper server maintenance.
Such moment of inactivity will also interrupt matchmaking services 30 minutes before the event.
All this does not come as a surprise, given that in the past few hours TweaBR, an important leaker and dataminer who works in the community of Fortnitehad announced through his social profiles that the new season of Chapter 3 of Fortine would debut tomorrow, that is Sunday March 20, 2022.
As happened then for the launch of the previous seasons of the well-known battle royale, there will be long periods of server inactivity first in view of the new update. Below you can see the official announcement of Epic Games:

Typically, the periods of server downtime that precede the arrival of a new season they run between one and two hours on averageso players will have to wait this time before they can get to the heart of Season 2 of Chapter 3 of Fortnite.
