Fortnite Chapter 3 – Parkour and sprint guide

Fortnite Chapter 3 reaches its Season 2, called Resistance and implements parkour and sprint. Yup, the update is available for all platforms, so you can also expect long lines to get in and play. This is because everyone wants to find out about the new mechanics introduced with Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: parkour and sprint.

In fact, Epic Games wanted to insert these two new mechanics so as to have to rethink the way in which you have to approach the Battle Royale. It will probably take some time for everyone to get used to these new game features. But what is the fastest way to get carried away? Here are some tips.

First of all it must be said that with the new Season, the normal running speed has been slightly increased, but the developers also wanted to make an even faster sprint. How you do it? You simply have to move in a certain direction and keep running, in doing so you will start shooting. But if you prefer the PC version of the game, know that you will have to connect it to a certain key on the keyboard before being able to take advantage of this feature, while for console players they won’t have any kind of problem.

As in many other games, the sprint will not last indefinitely: in fact, you will have a small white bar in the lower left corner of the screen. When it empties, you will no longer be able to shootbut it will recharge itself after a few moments, so you can sprint again without any problem.

But as we already said at the beginning of this guide, sprinting isn’t the only mechanic to arrive with Fortnite Chapter 3, because we also have parkour. But how does it work? This new feature will allow you to jump off the edges of buildings and onto ledges, so you can reach points never reachable before. In order to start using it, you simply have to approach the point where you want to jump and press the jump button, doing so will activate the parkour. Again you have to be carefulbecause not all points on the map are reachable.
