This week is going to be crucial for the smartphone industry as some major launches are planned. We will see OnePlus launch its premium flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro, along with TWS and a smart TV. Samsung will also launch a mid-segment phone, the Galaxy M33 5G, this week and Realme and Poco are also ready with their smartphones. These smartphones will cater to a wide range of buyers from premium to entry segments.
The OnePlus 10 Pro being a premium phone, Samsung’s M33 5G fits into the mid-segment. Poco X4 Pro 5G is one of the budget and Realme C31 is an entry segment phone.
These smartphones will be launched through Flipkart, Amazon and their own website. Here we summarize the complete smartphone launches from March 28 to April 2, 2022.
Samsung Galaxy M33 5G
Samsung will launch Galaxy M33 5G in India on April 2. It will be launched at 12 noon through the company’s official channels. The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G phone will use a 5nm chipset and a 6,000mAh battery. It will also have voice focus technology.
Samsung Galaxy M33 5nm chipset will be in octa-core formation with 2.4GHz clock speed. The Galaxy M33 5G will be equipped with 6GB and 8GB RAM models with 128GB internal storage. On top of this, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G will pack with RAM Plus technology by which users can get up to 16GB of virtual RAM if needed.
Samsung will load the Galaxy M33 5G with a massive 6,000mAh battery backed by a 25W charger. The phone will come with a Type-C port and also have the function of supporting reverse charging.
The 6.6-inch display in the Galaxy M33 5G is expected to get 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung may pack it with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12.
For photography, the Galaxy M33 5G may pack a triple camera setup with a 50MP main lens supported by a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor. An 8MP selfie lens can be seen in this.
The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G could be a mid-range phone with a starting price of around Rs 17,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. Galaxy M33 5G will be launched in India through Amazon.
Poco X4 Pro 5G
Poco India is going to launch a new smartphone X4 Pro 5G tomorrow. Xiaomi sub-brand, Poco, is bringing the X4 Pro to India after launching it in the global markets. Poco X4 Pro 5G will be launched at 12 noon via Flipkart. Poco X4 Pro is going to get 64MP triple camera setup in India while the global model has got 108MP lens.
The new Poco X4 Pro 5G 64MP main lens will be supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP selfie lens will be used in the X4 Pro 5G.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G microsite is already being created on Flipkart. It says that the Poco X4 Pro 5G will feature a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with 1200 nits peak brightness. It’s going to be a 120Hz panel.
For power, the Poco X4 Pro 5G will use a 5,000mAh battery with a 67W fast charger inside the box.
The company has used the Snapdragon 695 chipset and is likely to be paired with 6GB of RAM. The Poco X4 Pro 5G can run on Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top of its skin. Up to 11GB of virtual RAM is also available in Poco X4 Pro 5G.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G will be in the mid-segment and will probably cost around Rs 16,999 for the 6GB/12GB model.
realme c31
Realme is going to expand its affordable C-series with the launch of a new smartphone, called the Realme C31. Chinese smartphone maker company will launch it on March 31. It will be launched through Flipkart.
The Realme C31 flaunts triple rear cameras and a dew drop display. It also flaunts a 3.5mm audio jack and a Type-C USB port for charging. It is likely that the Realme C31 will also come with Unisoc chipset and RAM expansion technology.
oneplus 10 pro
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first phone from OnePlus to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is expected to run on Android 12 and ColorOS 12 here. With 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, the OnePlus 10 Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery and an 80W fast charger.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main Sony lens, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP macro shooter. 32MP selfie camera will be available in 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10 Pro also comes with Hasselblad branding. A 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate will be used in OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G may launch for around ₹57,999 for the 12GB variant. The price could start from Rs 52,999 if the company plans for an 8GB model. It will come to Amazon.
OnePlus will also launch a new Bullets Wireless Z2, a 43-inch 4K UHD Smart TV, Y1S Pro and Buds Pro Silver Edition.
