You are a big fan and passionate about the works of Leo Ortolani? Starting from next September will be released by Panini Comics Nightman, the new project of the Tuscan cartoonist. The new unreleased series from the creator of Rat-Man will develop into 6 outputs distributed at newsstands, comics shops and on the Panini.it online store.
The announcement was made on the occasion of the presentation conference of the Panini Comics editorial news to be released in the coming months as part of Napoli Comicon. Parody of the famous film Nightmarethe famous 1984 horror film written and directed by Wes Craven, starring Heather Langenkamp and chosen in 2021 for storage in the National Film Registry of the United States Library of Congress as “Culturally historical and significant”.
The comic series promises to be a real dive into the iconic thrilling atmospheres of the 90s, enriched by the irony of Ortolani and the unforgettable characters of Friday 12. Leo Ortolani commented on his new project as follows:
“It’s not a problem, if you have a nightmare, it’s a problem if you have a nightmare”.
Panini Comics then added that in the coming months new details relating to the new Ortolani project will be revealed.
Information on Comicon 2022 in Naples
As for the Comicon 2022 in Naples, it is finally back live. After two years of absence, the prestigious Neapolitan comics festival is ready to welcome its guests with a rich program with over 300 guests, 500 events and 350 exhibitors in all areas of the festival: Comics, TV & Cinema Series, Video Game, Game, Asian Village, Neverland and Comicon Kids. Comicon 2022 opened on April 22nd and will close on April 25th at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples. The festival avails itself of the support and collaboration of the Campania Region, of the Patronage of the Municipality of Naples and will see in the exhibition spaces the succession of many events and guests, including Davide Toffolo, singer-songwriter and cartoonist, who will take on the role of Magister of this edition and which will see him as the protagonist of numerous meetings and two exhibitions, as well as the protagonist of a special concert by the ‘superband’ composed of Three Merry Dead Boys and Cor Veleno.
