Thanks to Instagram we can give prominence to the images that we like the most. It is even easy to configure our phone Android to take photos with a high resolution, but when uploading them to the aforementioned social network, we realize that we do not have the same image quality.
If we want to have an image with excellent resolution, we just have to follow the recommendations made by the portal malavida.comwhich can be done without the need to download any additional application in the Play Store.
Use the mobile camera instead of the Instagram one
The advantage of Android mobiles is that the resolution of their cameras, depending on whether it is high-end or mid-range, is quite good. However, the quality of the photos will be appreciated if we take them directly in the Camera application. If we take a shot from Instagram, the photo will have a smaller size to be able to upload it to the server quickly.
Do not put filters or other elements such as GIFs when uploading photos
Animated objects, including survey stickers or music, are elements that have considerable weight when it comes to being published in stories. Filters also lower the quality of photos.
Avoid Instagram cropping of photos
It is recommended to cut the size (in the same Camera app) of the images that we are going to publish. Otherwise, Instagram will make a reduction automatically, therefore, the quality will be lower.
Remember that the parameters that Instagram manages, according to the adobe official pageare the following:
- The ideal size for square posts is 1080px by 1080px in a 1:1 aspect ratio.
- For horizontal posts, use an image that is 1200px by 628px, with an aspect ratio of 1.91:1.
- Portrait images should be 1080px by 1350px in size with an aspect ratio of 4:5.
Reduce the resolution a bit so that the photos are not so heavy
Photos taken in HDR are larger in size and often exceed the size allowed by Instagram. Depending on the brand of your device, you can change the pixel size of the photos you take with your camera.
The most recommended thing is that the shots do not exceed 12 MP.
