The Google Pixel Watch is now official, although it will not be released until the end of the year

The Google I/O 2022 is serving, among other things, for Google to put aside the rumors and turn them into realities. In the list of devices that we expected for this event was the Google’s first watchat least with its own brand, since the purchase of Fitbit by the Mountain View company was made official in early 2021.

The Pixel Watch is already a reality and we are happy to say it after so many years of speculation and the most recent leaks. The device that you have already been able to see on the cover does not change its design regarding the leaks, although not all features have been revealed.

10 GOOGLE APPS THAT COULD HAVE SUCCESSFUL

The Pixel Watch is official, but not much

To put in context the absence of many data on this smartwatch, tell you that Google just took a first look to which we will later see in full. As they have done with the Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, they have shown their design and have summoned us to autumn to find out for sure.

The best smartwatches of 2022

No price, no sizes, no specific sensors… The Pixel Watch still shrouded in mystery. Yes, there has been confirmation of the circle design as we see in the images. This is accompanied by an AMOLED panel with straps that, at least from what they have shown, will be made of silicone and will bring a mechanism that will allow them to be changed very easily. Returning to the clock itself, it incorporates a classic clock wheel which will serve to navigate through the system and a flat button just above this crown.

Pixel Watch interface

Yes, it has been confirmed. integration with Fitbit services and, therefore, health and sports monitoring functions like any self-respecting smartwatch today. They have shown as an example the sleep monitoring interface or the operation of Google Assistant for classic requests such as checking the time.

So, in the absence of more data, at least we can settle for having an official list of specifications that, although brief, serves to stop talking about this watch as a hypothetical. The countdown to the launch has begun, so in the end it will be inevitable not to know more details about this watch, either based on Google itself or the invaluable leakers that we had already been advancing data.
