Apex Legends Mobile release date set for May 17: Android and iOS system requirements

Apex Legends is one of the most anticipated smartphone games from the mobile game publisher and a lot of eyes are already on the game’s release date. Recently, the company announced a pre-registration link for Android users and a follow-up link for iOS users. Now in the latest development, Respawn has pulled the curtain off the release date and confirmed that the game is going to launch globally on May 17th. Yes! You read that right, the company has shared a trailer confirming the news, let’s take a closer look at the details.

EA has shared a trailer featuring characters from Apex Legends Mobile including Wraith, Mirage, Caustic, and more. The trailer also reveals the control layout of the game which will be coming soon to the smartphone. Apart from this, the trailer also confirmed the game modes that are going to be a part of the mobile version. The game modes will be mini-royal and team deathmatch, the teaser also suggests that Apex Legends Mobile will bring its first legend with an entirely new story and powers.

“New Legends, Maps, Gameplay, Modes, Progressions and Live Events continually expand the variety of gameplay to keep the experience fresh and new with each season,” the official website reads.

  • OS: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or above
  • Processor: Snapdragon 435, HiSilicon Kirin 650, MediaTek Helio P20, or Exynos 7420
  • Memory: 2GB RAM
  • Storage: 4GB free space
  • Notes: OpenGL 3.1 Support

Apex Legends Mobile Minimum Requirements iOS

  • OS: iOS 11 or newer
  • Device: iPhone 6S (A9 chip) or above
  • Memory: 2GB RAM
  • Storage: 4GB free space
