Manga Mania is the initiative organized by laFeltrinelli to explore one of the most interesting literary phenomena of recent years, capable of attracting and conquering transversal audiences, and which has established itself on the Italian publishing market, reaching significant market volumes. A success driven in recent times by titles that have also depopulated in Japan, such as Demon Slayer, Tokyo Revengers And Jujutsu Kaisen, outlining an increasingly growing trend: just think that My Hero Academia (Star Comics) in 2020 touched 100,000 copies.

From April 28th to May 25th it will be a month dedicated to the literary and visual universe narrated by the main ones mangaka, the famous Japanese cartoonists, through a rich calendar of previews, presentations, workshops, bibliographic proposals, and products exclusively for laFeltrinelli. Manga Mania is therefore an unmissable opportunity to meet, deepen and discover the literary genre and the Japanese imagination.
For those who cannot follow the appointments in person, on the Twitch channel of Lucca Comics & Games, in partnership with the Festival, a schedule of virtual meetings will be broadcast such as L’angolo di Kaf con Kafkyana, Dario Moccia, Cydonia and Cavernadiplatone who will discuss of the manga scene in Italy and, again, the direct of Daniele Daccò who will explore the theme of the Far East and the Eastern world.
In addition, for the whole month of the exhibition, numerous exclusive products made specifically by the publishers who have joined the initiative. Starting with Coconino which proposes the unpublished two-volume box set by Thirteen nights of grudge to J-Pop Manga that pays homage to bookmarks and postcards of Promised Neverland whoever bought in the laFeltrinelli Bookstores at that time, as well as a variant edition of the manga itself. Bao Publishing offers the exclusive variant edition of Hen Kai Pan while Dynit that of Border 66 Volume 1. From 16 and 21 May The free preview of the new Planet Manga series will also be available Sakamoto Days: it is an excerpt from the first volume of this series-event coming to Italy.
