Google Maps will now tell you how much money you’ll spend on tolls when traveling

The great G maps app does not stop incorporating new functions. We recently learned that Google Maps works on immersive 3D views and that it would display traffic lights and STOP signs to be an ally in driving of its users. Well, now another new feature has been revealed that will come to the popular Google app.

Through their blog, those from Mountain View have confirmed the arrival of a new feature that shows how much money you will pay in tolls when traveling. That’s right, now the app you use when driving will not only help you get to your destination, but now it will allow you to plan your trips economically.

This function, which was announced in mid-April, has begun to reach the app in both its Android and iOS versions. According to Google, it uses reliable information provided by local authorities to calculate toll costs when traveling by car.

Even the maps app of the great G offers an option to find the route to your destination where you avoid tolls. This can be of great help if you want to save some dough when traveling. In addition, using it is very easy, here above we leave you an image on how to find this function.

For now, This feature is not available in all countries. In fact, it is currently only possible to know the price of tolls on around 2,000 routes. United States, India, Japan and Indonesia. But don’t worry, Google has confirmed that it is already working so that it will soon begin to reach more countries.
