League of Legends: the Italian final of the Red Bull Solo Q will be open to the public

Today, Red Bull has announced the date and opening to the public of the Italian final of Solo Q, the latest League of Legends competition for players from our country. After a long qualifying period, the top 8 players will compete for victory in the competition.

The date chosen for the final of the competition is Sunday 3 July 2022. The start is set for 18:00 and the location is the Combo Milano of Ripa di Porta Ticinese 83. For the first time ever, the event will be open to the public, allowing everyone to watch the Esports competition. Participating will be the best 8 players, who have faced various online qualifiers between May and June. But now the time has come to decree the winner and the stakes are high: representing Italy in the European play-offs, valid for the world finals. “The winner, in fact, will continue his climb to glory by challenging the best amateur players from around the globe, chasing the dream of being crowned the strongest amateur League of Legends player in the world,” reads the press release.

How does Solo Q work? The format is very different from what we already know. The Red Bull Solo Q in fact only faces two players, against each other. Objective? Get first blood (first kill), destroy opponent tower or kill 100 enemy minions. The first one who succeeds in one of these three goals takes home the victory. “This particular game mode makes the Solo Q a fresh, exciting and very fun competition, totally out of the box in full Red Bull style”, the words contained in the press release. To support the event also Acer, which with its Nitro line devices provides players with hi-end hardware ensuring an optimal gaming experience.

The Italian final of Red Bull Solo Q will be open to the public, but anyone who fails to participate will not miss the action. The entire event will in fact be broadcast on Twitch, on the Red Bull channel, reachable at this address.
