This week, Google rolled out a major update and redesign for Google News — here’s how to give it a try (and give it a chance back if you don’t like it). Ikea has launched a new virtual design tool that lets you see how its furniture will look in your home before you buy. If you have a Fitbit, there’s a new Sleep Profile feature that depicts you as a cartoon animal to see how you sleep.
Additionally, a slew of new gadgets were also announced (and released). Here’s what you need to know.
Master and Dynamic MW75
master and dynamic
Master & Dynamic announced its latest flagship noise-canceling headphones, the MW75, which are the direct successor to the 2019-release MW65—and they’re a big change. They have a revamped design, a ton of better features (including support for adaptive noise-canceling and a companion app), and a new $599 price tag. They’re one of the most expensive pairs of noise-canceling headphones out there, but they’re also one of the best and prettiest. They will be available for purchase on June 28 in several different finishes.

moment anamorphic lens adapter
Moment, a company best known for its mobile photography accessories, announced an anamorphic lens adapter for mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It easily screws into the filter thread of any lens on your camera and turns it into a 1.33x anamorphic lens. If you’re a photographer looking for a big picture with the mesmerizing flair that anamorphic lenses are known for, this is what you want.
Moment just launched the Anamorphic Lens Adapter on Kickstarter. “Early Bird” pledges can order it for $999 and it’s expected to ship this December. When it goes fully retail, it is expected to cost $1,299.
RiotPWR Mobile Controller for iOS (Xbox Version)
RiotPWR and Xbox have teamed up to create an Xbox Edition controller that’s designed to allow you to play Xbox games (via Xbox Cloud Gaming) on your iPhone. The controller is similar to the latest Xbox controllers, but with a mount and Lightning connector for holding and charging your iPhone while you play. It’s available for preorder now, with an official release scheduled for August 1.
Anker Soundcore Sport X10
The Soundcore Sport X10 are ear-hook style wireless earbuds, which means they wrap around your ears for better grip and stay in place. Not that many of these are ear-hook style wireless earbuds, of course, Beats’ $200 Powerbeats Pro being the most famous. However, at just $79, the Soundcore Sport X10 is a significantly more affordable option.
Twelve South HiRise3
The HiRise3 is the company’s latest 3-in-1 charger for iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods (any model with a wireless charging case). It has a more compact and minimalist design than other like-minded chargers. Additionally, it also fully supports MagSafe, which means it can fast-charge any iPhone 12 or iPhone 13. The only major downside is that the required 20-watt USB-C power adapter isn’t included and has to be purchased separately. It is now available in Black or White finish.
nothing call 1
Nothing at all
Nothing we got our first glimpse of the smartphone before it: Phone 1. The most standout feature of the upcoming Android is the innovative light notification system located at its rear. A different light pattern (and sound) will play depending on the person calling you or the app sending you the notification. The idea is that you’ll be able to tell who is trying to reach you, even if your smartphone is lying face down. There is no release date or price for the Phone 1, and unfortunately it looks like this promoted smartphone will not be available in the US.
