Two years after the Huawei FreeBuds Pro, the company already has its successor ready in the form of the new Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 TWS earphones. They have a similar design and price, although they improve on several of their specifications.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 enhance active noise cancellation, can reproduce a greater range of frequencies and introduce the IP54 resistance, which was not present in its predecessor. Let’s see what these new headphones offer us.
Huawei “pro” headphones get better
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro came out well in our analysis two years ago, with a grade of 8.0 and highlighting its sound quality and noise cancellation, and being one of its points to improve was the absence of an equalizer. For the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2, Huawei has basically built on the previous model and has improved most of its sections.
Starting with sound quality, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 feature 11-millimeter-diameter driver units with a response frequency from 14 to 48,000 Hzhigher than the 20 – 40,000 Hz of the previous generation and earning the HD Audio certification.
The noise cancellation is still there, based on the three microphones that it includes and supported on this occasion by artificial intelligence to improve its performance. As a result, he is able to cancel noise up to 47 dBmore than the 40 dB that the FreeBuds Pro could cancel.
There has also been time to solve one of its problems, the equalizer. The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 support a triple adaptive equalizeralso receiving IP57 certification for water resistance.
As for the battery, there are not many changes. The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 give to 4 hours of music with noise cancellation or 6.5 without it. With the help of the charging box, the autonomy can reach 30 hours.
