Marvel’s Spider-Man: PC remastered features revealed

Sony has announced the features that will be implemented with the Remastered for PC of Marvel’s Spider-Man, title developed by Insomniac Games and originally released for PlayStation 4 in 2018. It is scheduled for release on Steam and on the Epic Games Store starting August 12 this year.

Let’s go now to see in detail the new features that the developers have introduced in this remastered:

  • The game supports ray traced reflections on hardware that can handle them. There are several levels of quality of reflections, including a new high-performance mode that maximizes the amount of detail you can admire as you swing and fight crime in Marvel’s New York.
  • NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology increases graphics performance using IA Tensor Core processors found only in RTX GPUs, improving frame rates without compromising on image quality.
  • NVIDIA DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) technology is an AI-based anti-aliasing mode that allows GeForce RTX-equipped gamers to dedicate some of the GPU’s power to improving image quality.
  • In addition to several standard resolutions, the game allows you to choose from various screen aspect ratios, including ultra-wide 21: 9, panoramic 32: 9, and NVIDIA Surround * multiscreen configurations. If you have three monitors, this is the perfect game to make the most of them!
  • Many other rendering systems are now freely customizable, with new options for adjusting quality levels and algorithms. Some examples are ambient occlusion, texture filters, level of detail, shadows, and more. The game supports in-window, full-screen and exclusive full-screen rendering modes.

In short, a revolution that mainly concerns the graphics sector. Flying around the skyscrapers of New York has never looked so good. At this point, we just have to give you an appointment on 12 August, the day of the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. We leave you, waiting, with our review of the PlayStation 4 version.
