The most powerful mobiles of the Redmi family are already official in China: Xioami has unveiled the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro in its country, two feature-laden phones pointing ways. Quite similar between both and the perfect icing on a catalog of authentic best sellers.
Within Xiaomi, the brand divides the phones around different ranges. To do this, take advantage of its second brand, Redmi: this agency is the most accessible in the catalog. But that is not why it resists the highest range: the “K” bring the maximum benefits to a public that does not want to spend excessive money.

A very high level hardware
The Redmi “K” are usually in line with the best Xiaomi; although betting on more aggressive lines and more youthful colors. In this sense, the new Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro maintain the groundbreaking aesthetics that the first model of the new family already releasedthe Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.
The brain chosen by Xiaomi for the two new mobiles is manufactured by MediaTek. Specifically, the Redmi K50 bets on the Dimension 8100; raising the bar with the Dimensity 9000 in the Redmi K50 Pro. Both include RAM up to 12GB LPDDR5; with up to 512 GB UFS 3.1 in the case of storage.
The screen offers a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel with a hole for the 20-megapixel front camera. Both phones offer 120Hz refresh rateare protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Crystal and have a 480 Hz touch sampling rate.
The photograph chosen by Xiaomi bets on a triple rear module with a main camera that varies depending on the model: the Redmi K50 chooses a 48 megapixel SONY IMX582 sensor; the Redmi K50 Pro opts for a sensor Samsung S5KHM2 108 megapixel (in both cases the OIS mechanical stabilization is included). The secondary camera is 8 megapixels with a wide angle lens. The photographic trio is completed by a 2 megapixel sensor with a macro lens.
The battery and fast charging also differentiate the two models: 5,500 mAh and 67 W in the Redmi K50; 5,000 mAh and 120 W in the Redmi K50 Pro. Xiaomi offers them with MIUI 13 right out of the box, they include 5G, NFC and dual stereo speakers.
Price and availability of the Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro
