In addition, Arc System Works announced that it is working on a Season 2 for Guilty Gear Strive that will add four additional characters to the roster. Plus, add cross-platform play between PS4, PS5 and Steam PC.

Arc System Works, known for developing visually-stunning fighting games, is going all out on announcements. Along with Testament and the new Season Pass, ASW announced three new features coming to Guilty Gear Strive.

They include the new battle phase White House Reborn, which will be part of the Season Pass or can be purchased separately for $1.99.

There’s also a digital figure mode, which sounds similar to a photo mode. Players can create unique scenes by placing characters, furniture, effects, and more, as well as adjusting characters’ expressions, camera angles, filters, and sharing these scenes online. The new mode will be available on March 28.

Finally, there will be ‘Another Story’ which are new story missions that feature alternate perspectives on the game’s lore from characters not seen in the main story. It will be available at the end of April in Season 1 Pass.

Guilty Gear Strive will highlight another fighting game series later this year when Ark World Tour returns in 2022. Strive will highlight the event with the upcoming Dungeon Fighter Online fighting game DNF Duel. Sponsored by Nexon, the event has a prize pool of $100,000 per game.
