Is this really an improvement?

Google has been experimenting with the best use of Lens for some time now. Previously, it was mobile only. It was then added to Chrome in a low-key way, and some users recently caught a fully search-integrated trial version in desktop browsers using Incognito Mode. Now it looks like there has been a more distinctive change, as GHacks noted that the lens is now Only Reverse image search option when you right-click on a photo using Chrome.

If you’re using an updated version of Chrome, you should be able to right-click on the photo, and you’ll see a menu that says “Use Google Lens.” That is all. Yes, reverse image search as we found out still exists, but instead of a few clicks, it’s now a bit more of a journey to get there. Users can still get extensions that make reverse image search easier through the native feature, but if you like Lens, congratulations! It’s now your main Chrome desktop option when tracking what you’re looking for.
