A second way to get the iPhone camera ready is by touching the back of your smartphone. Follow the steps that Mag El Comercio indicates, and thus you will activate this function:

  • Go to Settings
  • Find Accessibility

How to call an emergency service from your iPhone?

This feature allows you to quickly call for help. With a button you can communicate with the assistance services or with a completely trustworthy contact in the event of any eventuality. This is usually a local support number, set by default on the device.

Activating this feature varies depending on the model of iPhone you have. If you have an iPhone 7 or earlier, follow these steps.

  • Quickly press the side or top button five times.
  • You will see the Emergency SOS slider appear on the screen.
  • Swipe to activate the services and the call will be made immediately

Remember that after the call, the contacts you have placed in the “Emergency Contacts” list will receive an SMS with your location.

The process is very similar in the iPhone 8 or in more current devices. Follow the instructions that Mag El Comercio has prepared for you.

  • Press and hold the Side button and one of the Volume buttons until the Emergency SOS slider appears.
  • Slide over the Emergency SOS bar to contact local assistance services.
