Tim Cook has traveled to Japan to visit all kinds of Apple-related stores, factories, studios, and research centers. If a few days ago he revealed one of the biggest secrets of the iPhone, detailing that his company has been associated with Sony and its camera sensors for a decade, today he has done the same by talking about one of the most important strap manufacturing factories for AppleWatch.

As usual, Tim Cook has shared a series of photographs during his visit to this factory in Japan. Apparently, according to his words, it is a family business that has been operating for more than 70 years in Fukui Prefecture.

This is how the orange Alpine Loop band of the Apple Watch Ultra is made

The factory that Tim Cook has visited is specialized in the manufacture of fabric straps for Apple Watch Ultra. During his visit, Tim Cook was able to witness how they made the orange Loop Alpine strap.

This strap, like the watch for which it is made, offers great resistance and has a very curious design. Take a look at the images and be amazed by the fabrics of this traditional factory in Fukui.

“Delighted to visit the team at Inoue, a family-owned business that has been operating in Fukui for over 70 years. They are bringing together traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge manufacturing to weave stunning Apple Watch bands.”

It seems that it is the last day of Tim Cook’s trip to Japan. The CEO of Apple has decided to conclude his visit to the Japanese country with a spectacular photograph in a monastery with three monks.

It is not the first time that Tim Cook has traveled to Japan. In fact, it is very common for Apple executives to travel to other countries in order to promote the brand and close business agreements in the factories of the most important suppliers.

For its part, the Apple Watch follows its own. Apple’s smart watch has had an annual growth of 52.9% in China, one of the main markets for wearables globally.
