Facebook Stories are a fun way to promote events, let people know about holidays as they’re happening, or discuss just about anything. They appear above a Facebook user’s feed, placed there to be noticed. You can quickly add text to a photo or video (plus the latest fun filters) and put it in front of people in seconds. The flip side of a Facebook Story’s visibility is its fleeting existence. Unlike a normal post, Facebook Stories are only active for 24 hours – but if you made a mistake in the text, or uploaded the wrong photo, that’s still too long. Luckily, a story on Facebook, whether it’s a photo, video, or text, can be quickly and easily deleted. The process for deleting a Facebook Story is very similar on the website. On your home page, you’ll see a row of stories just above your timeline. Click on the story you want to delete.
