Voxengo plugin developer says he’s “broken into some ‘backdoor’ in the math itself” that proves the universe has a ‘creator’

Best of 2022: We’re used to hearing Put Developers are telling us their new software is the best synth/compressor/EQ/reverb/delay they’ve ever made, but it’s rare to hear them claim they’ve “broken some ‘backdoor’ in math” that reflects is that there was some sort of ‘creator’ in the universe before the Big Bang.

Although this is what Alexey Vaniev of Voxengo is saying (Opens in new tab): We’re told he made his remarkable/dangerous discovery while working on the PRVHASH Dithering Noise Generator, which is used in many of his products, including elephant limiter.

It is at this point that we struggle to follow Vaniw’s research – which he described in detail (Opens in new tab) – Neither being an expert in maths, physics or plugin development. Their findings, however, are startling, and are described by the author as “an interesting and perhaps very questionable proposition”.

Vaniev believes that: “The ‘intelligent impulse’ or even the ‘human mind’ (since a musician can understand these impulses) existed long before the ‘Big Bang’ occurred. The greatest discovery in U.S. history, and the worst (for many people) because it poses very inexplicable questions touching religious grounds.

The Voxengo developer summarized his findings as follows: “These results of 1-bit PRVHASH say the following: If abstract mathematics is not only a system of rules for manipulating numbers, but also a freely defined fixed information which is also ‘readable’. By a person, then mathematics does not just ‘exist’, but is ‘constituted’, since mathematics does not evolve (apart from human discovery of new rules and patterns). And since such mathematics cannot be formulated without physics, and that physical processes clearly obey these mathematical laws, this means that there exists a creator/higher intelligence/god in relation to the universe. Personally for the author, all here Something is proven.

Vaniev says that he wanted to “share my astonishment and satisfaction with the results of this work, which took much longer than I wanted,” but if you don’t want to.

“PRVHASH itself is just a nice white noise generator,” he concludes, “so you don’t have to worry about any of the other details associated with its development”.
