WhatsApp will receive a more complete text editor: these are all its news

Since a few years ago, the popular messaging client WhatsApp allows us insert texts in images, videos, GIFs and statuses, but for many years this tool has hardly received significant improvements. Until now.

Through the latest beta version of WhatsApp, it has been discovered that the company is preparing a new text editora new tool that is much easier to use and more complete than WABetaInfo has been able to activate to show us what it will be like and what its new features will be.

A more complete text editor

Currently the tool to insert texts to images or videos is limited to four types of fonts and a color picker but in the next text editor we will find under its new interface more fonts and two new editing options.

Now to change the font we have to click on the ‘T’ button to move between fonts but in the new editor we have shortcut to seven fonts, three more than before. With this new selector we can directly select our favorite text font without having to go through the rest of the fonts.

The easiest way to know who of your contacts is on WhatsApp, Signal or Telegram

In the new editor we can adjust the text aligned. We can choose that the text is aligned to the left, to the right or to the center as before. This gives us more freedom when we want the texts of more than one line to be displayed.

Finally, with the new text editor we can finally change the color of the background of the text so that they can stand out more with the background of the image or video, which we can be more creative with the tool.

The WhatsApp’s new text editor is still in developmentwith which it is not yet available to users but it is expected that in a few weeks it will begin to reach the first lucky ones who use WhatsApp Beta in tests.
