audiogen Artificial intelligence text to audio

MusicLM is the new Google tool that through artificial intelligence can convert texts into original songs. To do this, the AI uses a hierarchical model from sequence to sequence that generates audio at 24 kHz for several minutes.

The best of all? Well, it is very easy to use, you just have to write a textual description like “a violin melody with a distorted guitar solo» and in a matter of minutes MusicLM will create the song. Here below we leave you some examples presented by Google on his blog:

  • “Slow tempo reggae song with bass, drums, sustained electric guitar, and high-pitched bongos with ringtones. The vocals are relaxed with a very expressive feel.” — Audio generated:
  • “The main soundtrack of an arcade game. Upbeat and upbeat, with a catchy electric guitar riff. Repetitive, easy-to-remember music, but with unexpected sounds, like cymbal crashes or drum rolls» — Audio generated:

Finally, it should be mentioned that, according to Google, this AI can also generate music based on textual descriptions of emotions, sensations, paintings and is even capable of taking pre-existing songs and transforming them into hums or whistled melodies. Also, users will be able to tell a story to MusicLM so that the AI generates adapted music to this, which can be very useful for the composition of soundtracks for series, movies and even games.

And you… Do you think this AI will positively impact the world of music?
