US-based publisher Sekai Project has revealed the release date for the upcoming romance visual novel Qualia: The Path of Promise. Developed by PURESIS, Qualia will launch via Steam for PC on February 3rd, with an uncensored version being released via the Denpasoft storefront on the same day.

Qualia: The Path of Promise deals with a humanoid android by the name of Machina. Expressing intelligence and self-awareness similar to that of a real person, Machina becomes the world’s first android to pass the Turing test. For this, they receive worldwide fame and recognition, but – as scientist Dr. Hiro Koshino suspects – they still have a lot to learn about human relationships.

Dr. Hiro Koshino takes Makina home and asks her to work as his maid. As their daily interactions grow, so do their feelings for each other, and thus this romance scene kicks in the romance element of the novel. Exploring topical themes from the human condition to the science of love, Qualia: The Path of Promise tells a kinetic, heartfelt story that explores the romantic connection that blossoms between an android and the scientist who studies her.
