Warlander is one of the hottest January releases on Steam. The title is rapidly gaining new players, and according to statistics, Poles are responsible for a partial increase in popularity.

It’s been less than a week since the release of Warlander on Steam – a free-to-play TPP team PvP game with supernatural powers and epic castle sieges in the background. The title caught the attention of many Poles.

Warlander with great interest among Poles

Warlander debuted on Steam last Tuesday. The title uses the free-to-play model, which certainly helped it reach the 9th position in the ranking of the most popular games (via: steam250). According to SteamDB statistics, 17,292 players played the game at the peak of the weekend (even more people watch the game on Twitch – yesterday’s peak was about 35,000 viewers).

On Steam, it is easy to find reviews of our countrymen, a according to Google Trends On a global scale, Poland ranks fifth in the ranking of the most frequently searched phrase Warlander. The title is especially popular in Asia – especially in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.

Warlander – what is it eaten with and how does it taste?

As we read in the description on Steam, Warlander is a combination of solutions taken from two well-known brands: League of Legends and the Chivalry series. From the first one the creators took the game on the rules MOBA – We have tactical style combat hack-and-slash and elements 4X strategy (including diplomacy)with a strong focus on cooperation (including the achievement of goals and the mutual complementation of classes). FROM Chivalry while the theme of epic sieges of medieval castles was borrowed. Up to 100 players can participate in the game at the same time.

So far, the title divides the players – 62% of 2743 user reviews Steam is positive. Players appreciate the original idea and the pleasantly executed combat. The complaints mainly concern poor optimization and other technical problems. However, the creators regularly release technical updates, so perhaps the most serious shortcomings will soon be eliminated.

Warlander debuted on PC on January 24 on Steam. The game is planned to come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in April this year.
