Xiaomi continues its campaign to update devices to MIUI 14 and Android 13. In recent weeks, we have seen the arrival of the OTA for the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, POCO F4 and Xiaomi 11T.
Now it is the turn of two of the best mid-range of the last two years, a couple of best sellers that marked milestones and today they are still fantastic mobiles. What devices are we talking about? Well of the POCO X3 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Lite, which are already receiving MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

Launched in 2021, the POCO X3 Pro is a mobile that completely broke the mid-range, as it offered beastly power and an excellent screen for a ridiculous price. This caused it to become one of the best-selling smartphones of 2021 in many markets and it’s still a very capable device. Originally, it launched with Android 11 and MIUI 12 for POCO, so this update to Android 13 and MIUI 14 will probably be the last.
For its part, the Xiaomi 12 Lite hit the market just over 6 months ago, as an economical version of the company’s flagships. Its price/power ratio is perhaps not as good as that of the POCO, but it has excellent camera and charging system for a mid-range. The Xiaomi 12 Lite landed with Android 12 and MIUI 13, so this would be its first major update.

The two update packages serve to be installed manually through recovery, but are the global ROMs of these two mobiles. The European ROMs (EEA) are not yet available, although they should be soon.
Likewise, if you prefer not to risk it and install everything automatically, you just have to wait for your mobile to send you the update notification. That, or check it out for yourself from Settings > About phone > System update > Check for updates. In any case, you may have to wait a few weeks, because these updates are stable, but they are still part of Xiaomi’s Mi Pilot program.
What news do the Xiaomi 12 Lite and POCO X3 Pro receive with Android 13 and MIUI 14?
