The latest discovery has to do with the possibility of create call shortcuts in the app. Something like the shortcuts to open a chat that have been around for years. A small novelty, but together they continue to add up to make what is still one of the most popular messaging apps in the world more complete.
Create shortcuts now also for calls
For many social networks and messaging applications that exist, the ‘lifelong’ calls they remain an indispensable feature in phones. Thus, Internet calls in applications such as WhatsApp are gaining more and more prominence. See if not the recent bets of the platform to improve them with access links or with the possibility of integrating up to 32 participants.
In WABetaInfo they have now discovered a new functionality in the beta of the app. Specifically, in version 2.23.4.15 of Google Play. In it is the possibility of add a shortcut to call a contact on the home screen certain. Like the existing ones for chats, but speeding up the touches and making the calls direct without having to press anything else.
