Gothic 2: The Story of Neka will bring a mature plot, original soundtrack and Polish dubbing

Work is underway on the Historia Neka modification. It is to receive professional Polish dubbing, its own soundtrack and a mature story.

Mods for Gothic are always very popular in our country, which is probably the best proof of the huge success achieved by Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos. There are many other interesting mods in production, based on the universe created by Piranha Bytes studio. One of them looks particularly surprising.

Mature plot, original soundtrack and Polish dubbing

Story of Neka is a mod for Gothic 2: Night of the Raven, developed by Silver Ore Team. It has just received an announcement, showing roughly what this project will be. The story will focus on Nek – a guard from the Old Camp, about whom we could hear only from short stories in the first Gothic. One of the most important features of the production is to be a mature and well-thought-out plot that will be in line with the game’s lore. In addition, the modification is to receive an original soundtrack based on music composed by Kai Rosenkranz. The announcement also stated that mod will receive professional Polish dubbing.

The action takes place two years before Nameless is thrown behind the barrier of the Mining Valley. Locations that we couldn’t visit in the first Gothic will be made available, and some of the decisions we make will matter. The creators also announced that the side quests will not only extend the gameplay, but will offer a story background and will be constructed in such a way that their performance is satisfying for the player.

At the moment, even the approximate release date is not known Neka’s story, because the creators still have a lot of work ahead of them.
