Although we have recently talked about the firm’s new premium wireless headphones, TP Vision has also surprised us with a new product designed for those who cannot go to sleep without their favorite songs. And the company has announced Your first sleep headphones: the Philips N7808.
With a design in collaboration with the company Kokoon, it is a proposal that tries to solve the discomfort that many headphones present when the user wants to use them when going to bed. In this way, Philips offers a headset with the structure mounted behind the head. Under these lines we tell you all the information.
Going to bed with music will no longer be a problem
It is true that a good part of the headphones today are not the most comfortable to wear when we go to bed. However, Philips claims to have a solution for it. And it is that the company intends to increase the comfort of the user while resting lying down with the Philips N7808.
The earbuds themselves are much smaller (just 6mm thick) to reduce discomfort when sleeping in them. In fact, the main electronic components are located in the back of the headwith more space in the ears to avoid disturbances from outside.
The N7808s also allow monitor sleep pattern to adapt audio and automatically dim it as the user falls asleep. In fact, all the sleep part is left to Kokoon, a company specialized in sleep technologies.
Through the Kokoon app we can improve compression and sleep management, continuously monitoring using accelerometers and a small optical heart rate monitor. This heart rate monitor is located inside the earphone and emits a light on the skin that helps measure its dispersion in body blood flow. This information is collected in the app so that the user can better understand the process and improvement of their sleep.
These headphones also feature solutions for isolation from external noise. And it is that its isolation works in combination with an intelligent noise masking function, using white noise to smooth out external sound peaks that can interrupt sleep.
According to Philips, headphones offer up to 10 hours of autonomyand can also be used to make calls and stream music through the main listening platforms.
Price and availability
As was the case with the headphones and televisions presented by the firm, this product does not have a set launch date or price either, so it will be necessary to watch out for the company to rule on the matter.
