And that’s what this TikTok user achieves with a video that is causing a furor on social networks by managing to avoid the loss of cold and at the same time that the low temperatures from outside penetrate the house using a cheap method.
Isolate spending little money
It is no longer just about heating the house, trying to consume as little energy as possible and incidentally saving on each month’s bill, but also about that the heat that we generate inside the home is not lost by points like windows.
We have already seen the importance of having good closures that fit well and act as a barrier against the cold outside, but there are occasions, for example in older apartments where there are no modern enclosures and insulators and where temperature leaks may be common.
And this is where this system that is sweeping TikTok comes in. A method used to insulate the house and prevent the cold from entering through the windows using a low-cost material within everyone’s reach, such as plastic.
According to Shay’s video (@shay_creates), this method is used to isolate windows keeping the heat generated in the home and repelling the cold that you can sneak through them. A trick that is already sweeping social networks, approaching almost 95,000 “likes”.
And having said all this, the user shows how she insulates the house using insulating plastic, although a specific type for windows. what she does is glue said plastic to the windows and so that it looks good and without air bubbles, they use an adhesive and then a dryer with which they eliminate the air bubbles.
