And it is that the firm has also presented a whole range of new generation headphones. Continuing with its iconic line, the company has announced its Philips Fidelio L4 over-ear headphones, its high-end for this year in terms of wireless headphones.
As an accompaniment to those mentioned, it has also presented its new Philips T2 TWS ANC headphones, totally wireless and with noise cancellation. Under these lines we leave you with all the information.
Fidelio L4, the new wireless over-ears from Philips
TP Vision has presented its new generation of wireless bluetooth headphones. And of course, they could not miss new features within its most premium range. And it is that the firm has announced its Fidelio L4, an over-ear model with which the firm intends to conquer this sector, also improving several of the characteristics of its predecessors Fidelio L3.
The L4s do not abandon the 40mm transducer, developed by the company itself. However, it now also incorporates a graphene coating which adds additional rigidity without penalizing weight. The firm ensures that this technology achieves lower distortion and a cleaner sound in the medium and high frequencies.
Among its outstanding features we also find its Bluetooth 5.3 support with Auracast streaming and LE audio. This, according to the manufacturer, guarantees an extremely reliable and efficient multipoint connection in terms of energy consumption.
On the other hand, the Fidelio L4 incorporate the LC3 and LDAC codecs for Hi-Res audio playback. However, they also include a 3.5 mm jack port and USB-C for wired connection and battery charging.
As usual in this class of headphones, the company also adds an active noise cancellation system, essential for many, especially in this range of headphones. This adaptive ANC system includes four microphones, relocating on this occasion the ventilation port of the microphone that measures external noise in the back of the headset, being less sensitive to wind noise. As wind noise becomes amplified, the microphone’s sensitivity can be automatically reduced.
Fidelio L4 is also designed for calls, so it includes an additional microphone that allows you to eliminate background sounds to make and receive calls normally. Philips T2, premium headphones true wireless with ANC
Another of the proposals that the company has shown are its headphones true wireless Philips T2, vastly improving some of the features that the original T1 already had.
Among these improvements we find the reduction in the size of its headphones, which are now 20% smaller compared to T1. In addition, its charging case has also been reduced in size, with a difference of 40% compared to its predecessors.
The T2s continue to feature a bi-directional design, albeit with a new graphene-coated 9.2mm driver and a smaller, streamlined driver.
Regarding your connection, we found Bluetooth 5.3, being this the latest version of the wireless communication standard. They are also compatible with Google Fast Pair, so pairing these headphones to an Android device will be a breeze, since we will only have to open them from the case for a Fast Pair compatible phone to recognize them instantly.
As for audio codecs, the T2 also have the LC3 and LDAC codec for Hi-Res audio and reliable connection. In addition, the headphones have an adaptive active noise cancellation system, with six microphones (three in each headset). Two of these microphones are reserved for voice pickup, further reducing the impact of wind noise when receiving or making calls.
The headphones are splash resistant as they are IPX4 rated, making them ideal for outdoor use.
Philips claims that the autonomy of its headphones is about 9 hours of continuous playback with ANC on. If we take into account the charge offered by the case, the headphones reach, according to the manufacturer, up to 27 hours of playback with ANC activated. These values increase to 10 hours and 30 hours respectively with noise cancellation turned off.

Since TP Vision they have not offered details about the price and date of their range of wireless headphones, so we will have to stay tuned for more information about it. Of course, these products are expected to land in the coming months.
