Google Maps is one of the best options that we have available for free to travel around the world without leaving home, both from a bird’s eye view and from street level, so we can find images unusual when observing them from a certain height or showing an error that draws special attention when merging the images.

Terrifying images from Google Maps
One of the most common errors that we always find in Google Maps is related to the merging of images to offer 360-degree views. In the Singapore art museum, we have a clear example.
A few years ago, one of the water canals in Iraq’s Sadr City showed a red color blood in its waters. The reason for this color is due to the presence of several slaughterhouses close to that location that poured blood into this channel.
This bird’s-eye view of the Beatrixpark pier in the Netherlands went viral at the time, since, as can be seen in the image, it seems that someone is dragging a body into the water, leaving behind a Blood trail. Apparently, the result that the person seen was a dog that liked to play with the water and the wet water left that contrast on the surface of the pier.
The author of the following image published on Reddit, baptized it by portal to hellan image that was made available on the New Baltimore highway in New York, an image that was obviously not reviewed before publication and that shows that the camera with which it was taken was not very fine.
One of the most disturbing images that were available on Google Maps until a few days ago, is that it shows us how the Google Maps vehicle runs over a motorist while driving on the roads of Senegal. A few days after this news went viral, Google Maps removed the images for that location and none are currently available.

In Canada, in the Medicine Hat area, located in southeastern Alberta, is the face of what appears to be an ancient Egyptian from a bird’s eye view and is called the Badland Guardian.
In the Arizona desert there is a gigantic crater 1,200 meters in diameter and 170 meters deep that can be seen from a great height and has become a tourist attraction in the area.
The specular image that we show you below is in the Netherlands. This is Fort Bourtange, a construction dating from 1593 and located in the town of Groningen. It is currently a museum.
Sandy Island is a ghost island that was first discovered in 2012. When a ship traveled to the location after appearing on Google Maps, it turned out that it was missing. In 2022, this island reappeared out of nowhere in the same location, only to disappear again shortly thereafter due to the effect of the tides.
In a corner of Kazakhstan, from a bird’s eye view, we can find a pentagram that, right off the bat, can indicate that it is a satanic cult of some sect in the country. However, it is actually the outline of a park located at this location.
