Flying dog, a plugin to master AI in Photoshop
If you want to make creations with artificial intelligence within Photoshop, you will have no choice but to go to a third-party plugin. At the moment, Adobe has not integrated any such solution. But there are developers who have gotten to work, making it possible for Stable Diffusion to integrate perfectly into the image editor.
The plugin is called Flying dog and is compatible with both DALL-E 2 and Stable Diffusion. As you can imagine, integrating both artificial intelligences will be much easier for you. make creations simply by typing text. In addition, it also allows you to use existing designs to generate new images.
Stable Diffusion and DALL-E AI comes to Photoshop
Another interesting option that this plugin offers you is to run Stable Diffusion in two very different modes. One of them squeezes all the power of artificial intelligence in the cloud, using Stability’s servers. However, it is also possible to use the AI functions from your own PC, if it has an NVIDIA graphics card.
In addition to the requirement for NVIDIA cards, only applicable if you go for the local mode of the plugin, you will need Photoshop version 23.5 or higher. Of course, it works equally well on Windows and on macOS.
There are other plugins that also bring AI to Photoshop
As with the websites for compressing images, there are many options for integrating the main artificial intelligences into Photoshop. While it is true that Flying dog is an excellent form, there are more plugins with similar objectives.
Here are three examples:
- Alpaca. This is a possibility if you are looking for something cheap to start with. From the outset, you have 200 free credits that allow you to start the process to obtain unique creations. This plugin makes use of DALL-E and Stable Diffusion.
- Light Flex. It also makes use of lA, but in this case to enhance the images you’re editing in Photoshop.
- neural filters. Although it doesn’t allow you to generate images, Adobe’s AI already includes some very powerful tools. They will help you edit photos, smooth skin, remove noise, and much more.
