Google launched the great Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones at the Google I/O 2021 event last year. The device packs a custom Tensor SoC, Android 12 OS update, a slew of new features, and an updated camera app. The search engine giant released Google Camera 8 and later updated it to the latest build v8.4.500,
While many people don’t know this, the Google Camera 8.4.500 has some semblance of the Pixel 7 series. On disassembling the Gcam app, XDA Found that the Google Camera app’s codename ‘pipit’ is integrated into the source code. It appears to suggest an upcoming Pixel 7 device.
Furthermore, there is only one model listed, which means the Pixel 7 Pro may not or may not release at a later date. However, this codename has now been linked to the rumored Pixel Fold.
Coming to the specifications, the Pixel 7 is expected to feature a 6.2-6.4-inch display, whereas, the Pixel 7 Pro will likely sport a 6.7 or 6.8-inch display. The Pixel 7 Pro could include a main, ultra-wide and telephoto cameras, while the regular Pixel 7 could pack a 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide and 8MP front-facing cameras as well as a 5,000mAh battery.

As you can see, the Pixel 7 (or at least the Pixel 7 Pro) will feature a triple camera setup. A primary lens, a telephoto lens and an ultrawide lens. However, we can also see a macro lens. It will be unveiled during the Pixel 7 launch to be held in late 2022.
