In July 2022, we informed you that the Polish studio Act Zero announced Ticket to Europe (later renamed We. The Refugees: Ticket to Europe). Today, however, we announce its release date. The title will be released on PC on May 1, 2023. (via PAP Business). Versions for mobile devices are also planned you can expect them later this year.

In. The Refugees: Ticket to Europe is visual novel adventure game, which will allow us to play the role of a writer trying to collect materials for a reportage about refugees trying to get from Africa to Europe. To this end, he decides to become one of them.

The game is inspired by real events – the creators chose the so-called Moria camp, where they interviewed real refugees (fragments of the recordings will be presented on the stream tomorrow at 14:00). They became the foundation approx. 30 hours of play, and one of its completion is supposed to take us about 10 hours. What fragments of the story we will see depends on the choices we make, leading to three different endings.

The developers say the scenario In. The Refugees: Ticket to Europe has 2 million characters which, in their opinion, corresponds to volumes 3-4 of the average length of a novel. The plot of the game is to show not only the stories of the characters we meet or the refugee problem, but also the moral dilemmas facing the writer we play.

If you are interested in We. The Refugees: Ticket to Europe, You can find a demo version of the game on Steam.
