Apple and Samsung smartphone users have started a social media debate after a Taylor Swift fan used her iPhone 14 Pro Max’s zoom to impressively focus on the singer at her concert.
TikTok user Kourtney posted a clip titled, “This is your sign to get the iPhone 14 Pro Max,” in which she focused on Swift performing on stage during her present. Era Travel
In the viral video, which has amassed 27.1 million views and more than 5.4 million likes, Kourtney opens with a tight shot of Swift Karma with backup dancers.

The audience is led to believe that Courtney has secured concert seats close to the stage and is filming Swift as she watches the singer from her seating area.
However, Courtney then dramatically and unexpectedly backs out of her shot of Swift to reveal how far back from the stage she is seated. In fact, Kourtney would hardly see the singer without the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
In the final shot of the clip, Courtney pans out more to reveal her nosebleed seats in the stadium.

‘This is the best Apple ad I’ve ever seen’
Thousands of TikTok viewers were stunned by Kourtney’s video and the telescopic capabilities of her iPhone 14 Pro Max’s zoom lens.
“Wow my jaw dropped. Apple better get you checked because this is the best ad I’ve ever seen,” said a TikTok user.
Several Swift fans commented that Kourtney’s video convinced them to invest in the iPhone 14 Pro Max before watching the singer’s concert.
One TikTok user wrote, “Look at me through my camera zooming in on the whole concert like this.”
Another person comments: “Just got an iPhone 14 so now I can feel even closer in my nosebleed seats!”
Meanwhile, another music fan thanked Kourtney for her supportive video: “I’m going to see Beyonce on tour in August and upgraded my phone for the same reason. Thanks for this.”
‘Someone does this with Samsung 100x zoom’
However, several Android users mocked the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s zoom capabilities in TikTok videos and argued that Samsung’s 100x Space Zoom was undeniably better.
“Someone Samsung do this with 100x zoom,” demands an Android user.
Another viewer comments: “The way you all are affected by this is shocking. Someone give them Samsung’s 100x zoom which is standard on every brand except Apple.”
Android users commented that Swift’s close-up video from the iPhone 14 Pro Max was blurry and argued that Samsung’s Space Zoom had higher quality, making images “clearer and closer”.
The new iPhone 14 Pro was released last year with an improved telephoto lens that offers three times optical zoom. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Space Zoom allows its cameras to offer a total combined optical and digital zoom of 100x.
Samsung achieved Space Zoom through a combination of optical zooming hardware, image processing, and a high-resolution sensor. However, some users have complained that the resulting 100x zoomed photos can be pixelated and of lower quality.
