Real-world images of Google’s Pixel Watch may have just leaked

Shortly after the first images of the Pixel Watch were leaked, it looks like we’re getting a full look at the entire device for the first time. according to a report by android centralOne of the publication’s readers found an abandoned Pixel Watch in a restaurant, took pictures and sent it in. While we don’t know much about the specifications of the watch, we do know that it is likely to be unveiled at Google this year. I and.

Sadly, the reader had no luck booting up the watch and taking a look around the software. The farthest thing they could clearly see in the device was the boot-up logo “G”, and it didn’t go beyond that. The source added that the watch could be “a test model for the internal Pixel team”, although this has not been confirmed.

However, the images above match what we’ve already seen, suggesting that it’s actually the Pixel Watch – or a very good copy. It also looks like there’s definitely a button under the crown, and what could be another button above the crown. Previous rumors have suggested that this watch has two buttons, one of which is a dedicated voice assistant button. The source also added that the bottom of the watch “looks like metal, but it looks like it’s covered with glass.”

As for the wristband, it looks like it’s a proprietary Google band made out of some kind of jelly material. This means you won’t be able to just turn on any watch bands and you’ll probably need to use Google’s official bands that it will likely sell.

The most interesting thing about this leak is not that the Pixel Watch was apparently found in a restaurant, but it was left with the box. Supposedly a Google employee had this device and forgot it, but why would they have brought the box with them?

according to this android centralA message at the bottom of the box says: “This device has not been authorized in accordance with Federal Communications Commission and Industry Canada regulations, nor has it been tested for compliance with EU regulations.”

The same note also stated that the model is for “internal testing and development only” and that “markings and packaging are not final.”
