Realme will finally unveil the GT Neo 3 for the Indian market at its launch event today. However, it is worth mentioning here that the smartphone is already available in the global markets. Hence, we have an idea of what the Indian version of the GT Neo 3 can offer in terms of specs and features. To recall, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had announced that the new GT Neo series handset will debut in India on April 29.
Apart from this, Sheth has also been teasing some of the key features of the handset ahead of its launch in India. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. Similarly, it has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP main shooter. Also, the phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the phone will bring notable camera upgrades and display improvements over its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 2. Furthermore, the teaser page gives us a glimpse into the awe-inspiring design and color options of the handset. As stated earlier, the Realme GT Neo 3 will launch in India today at 12:30 PM IST. The teaser page also confirms that the handset will go on its first sale in India on May 4. The launch event will be live-streamed on the official Realme YouTube channel. Notably, the handset will come in 6GBRAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations. Availability, Specs and Expected Price
The 6GBRAM+128GB storage model will set you back around Rs 25,000, while the 8GB RAM+128GB storage model could cost around Rs 27,500. The highest-end model that ships with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage can carry a steep price tag of around INR 30,000 in India. The GT Neo 3 comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the phone has MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor and Mali G610 GPU. There is also a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Apart from this, a 4,500mAh battery has been used in the phone, which supports 150W charging. The standard unit comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. For optics, the smartphone houses three rear-mounted cameras. These include a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, the phone packs a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
