iPhone 14 Pro leak reveals display with pill-and-hole design

(pocket-lint) — Apple’s next iPhone, possibly the iPhone 14 series, is already widely rumored. The Pro model is expected to sport a new display with a pill-shaped cutout and a hole for the Face ID sensor and front camera. Now, a real-world image of the new phone has surfaced online.

Front glass panels for all four iPhone 14 models have appeared on Chinese social media website Weibo (via) @sarnbyte on Twitter and as reported by 9to5Mac). The leaked image not only reveals the pill-and-hole design for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, but thinner bezels and a taller aspect ratio for those handsets as well. The image also shows that the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models will have the same notch as the iPhone 13 model. Keep in mind that this leaked image has not been confirmed, but it is in line with previous leaks that we have tracked so far.

Other rumored iPhone 14 Pro features include a 48-megapixel rear camera and an improved front camera with autofocus, and more. Check out Pocket-lint’s guide on the upcoming iPhone 14 for more rumours.

5 reasons why the REDMAGIC 7 is a great gaming phone by Pocket-lint promotion 29 April 2022

Apple usually releases its new flagship iPhone models in September and usually on the second Tuesday of the month. This has been the pattern for many years – at least it has been if you ignore 2020. Assuming that Apple continues with this strategy, it is possible that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be announced on September 13, 2022. If we are correct, we expect their announcement to start pre-orders for the iPhone 14 model on Friday, which will be September 16, with availability likely to be September 23, 2022. Remember, this is only a guess for now.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, nor will it be for several months, but that will be the date that we will write in the diary for now.
