There’s a Perfect Alien in Destiny 2’s Xur You Should Catch Now

It’s that time again, where Destiny 2 seller Zur has woken up and decided to start handing over god roles. and he’s got more or less three Superb exotics that you should catch, apart from what is really close to a perfect roll.

The main attraction is Random Roll Zur (in Nessus’s Watcher’s Grave) selling out on Hawkmoon, a Destiny 2 PvP staple. His role is in:

Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increased Range

Alloy magazine – reloads fast when the magazine is empty

Rangefinder – Improved zoom and range when aiming

Combat Grip – Greatly controls recoil

Between the rangefinder and the hammer-forged, it added an incredible amount to the hand cannon, where it is the most important stat. But the combat grip allows it to get additional recoil control as well. Alloy magazine is not generally a popular choice majority of weapons, but when your alien’s main advantage revolves around doing big damage with the last round in the room, it’s really one of a kind Perfectly fine Perks for this weapon.

As always, these exotic rolls sold by Zur on Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale aren’t cheap. They require an Exotic Cipher, an Ascendant Shard, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary Shards. I think getting this roll is better than having to farm the original Hawkmoon mission a billion times, but still, it’s a lot.

The other two items worth checking out this week?

If you missed one of Xur’s previous Dead Man’s Tale God roles, it’s a really good one this week. It has a Vorpal, full bore, high caliber round and short-action stock, which may not be perfect, but it is really good.

The other item is for Warlocks, where Xur is selling the Nezarec’s Sin helmet with a total of 69 stats, just two from the total max, which also has a distribution of 15 recoveries and 26 discipline. Nezarec’s for Zero 3.0 build is a great option where you generate ability energy when you kill zero damage. I was using it before secant filaments came along.

After bugging out for the first month of the season, Xur has definitely gotten its mojo back, selling only less stat armor. But his alien weapon rolls have been on point lately, and you really should be paying attention every week when he shows up. That’s why I am writing this post!

It doesn’t seem likely that Xur will get any more exotics in its collection in the future, given that the “random roll” exotic idea has been somewhat relegated to crafting with Gloves and Osteo Striga. But he’ll likely keep selling the pair for an uncertain future, and we’ll see what he brings us next.
