Apple will charge you $80 for its new smart water bottle. Everything is said, the bottle is not usual, far from it. It is a kind of intelligent thermos that also incorporates RGB lighting and whose main objective is to monitor water intake during the day.

A smart water bottle that alerts you when you need to hydrate

It has been baptized as HidrateSpark Pro Smart Water Bottle, and you can synchronize it with your Apple devices (iPhone, Apple Watch…) through Apple Health to keep track of the liters of water you need to drink a day.

The LED lighting system is completely customizable, but it doesn’t just have an aesthetic function. The lighting patterns can also be synced with the Apple Health app so that the bottle alerts you with a certain type of light when detects that you have not drunk for a long time. You can choose the colors that are shown at all times and different types of alerts.

Apple has launched the product with two different price options, but neither is cheap. The main model is HydrateSpark PRO STEEL, It costs $80 and is made of high-quality stainless steel., with a capacity of one liter. The other model is made of plastic and has a little less capacity, slightly higher than 700ml. The latter costs $60 at the official Apple store.

At the moment the product has gone on sale in the US and it remains to be seen how it behaves in the market before starting to talk about its distribution in Europe and the rest of the world. At the moment, fans are quite outraged on social networks since they consider an excessive price for the functionalities that the bottle provides within the iOS universe.
