Toyota GR86 arrives in dealerships in June



10 years after the arrival of the GT86 on the market, Toyota is ready to open orders for the new generation of its sports car, the Toyota GR86: the car will be available in dealerships starting in June at a price starting from 34,250 for the Sport M / T set-up.

Under the hood of the Toyota GR86 we find a 4-cylinder boxer engine with 2.4 liters of displacement and 234 horsepower, in addition to 250 Nm of torque; the maximum speed is indicated in 226 km / h in versions with manual transmission, and in 216 km / h in those with automatic transmission. The drive is rear, and with the manual gearbox you can shoot from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.3 seconds.

The beautiful Japanese sports car, developed in collaboration with Gazoo Racing and with Subaruis available in 3 different configurations: the entrance one, called Sport M / T, Premium Sport M / T And Premium Sport A / T. On the entry version we find 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen display for managing the infotainment system, rear camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch digital display for the driver’s instrumentation, dual automatic climate control zone, LED headlights, Smart Entry and Cruise Control.

If you are looking for a little more equipment, you can aim for the Premium Sport M / T version, equipped instead with 18-inch wheels, seats covered in leather and Ultrasuede with heating function, adaptive headlights and blind spot monitoring system. On the Premium Sport A / T version the main difference is to be found in the gearbox, which becomes 6-speed automatic with steering wheel gearboxadaptive cruise control, automatic high beam and automatic emergency braking system.

In addition to the price already mentioned for the entry version, we have a surcharge of 2,500 euros for the Premium Sport M / T version, and an additional 2,000 euros for the Premium Sport A / T version, therefore the more expensive Toyota GR86 can cost 38,750 euros.
