There’s a new photo selection tool that lets users restrict the amount of photos and videos an app can access, instead of allowing them to view their entire library. Google also plans to introduce a new integrated security and privacy settings page in Android 13 that provides a clear indicator of the security status as well as offers suggestions that will enhance security.

With Android 13, Google plans to roll out pre-made color variants that will apply a color scheme to the entire OS. In terms of personalization, Android 13 users can select a different language preference for each app in Settings. The new feature will be useful for people who are multilingual and use different languages depending on the specific circumstances. With Android 13, Google is going to introduce better multitasking capabilities for tablets through an updated taskbar.

In addition, Android 13 will support more interactive functions between smartphones and different devices, such as TVs, computers, headphones and automobiles. For example, one of the new features brought by Android 13 beta 2 is the ability to copy and paste data from smartphone to tablet.
