Apex Legends Mobile is coming to most iPhones on May 17.

A few weeks ago we mentioned that Apex Legends Mobile would arrive in several countries before the summer of 2022, and finally we have news about it. Respawn Entertainment has announced that the shooter will be out on may 17for both Android and iOS.

This Battle Royal had been released in 2019 for almost all existing consoles, lacking a mobile version that could technically offer the same experience. According to Respawn Entertainment, it will not be a very different version and users will have a similar experience to the one they currently have on consoles.

Apex Legends Mobile finally on iPhone

The Apex Legends Mobile gameplay experience will be very similar to the console version, with some mobile-exclusive variations, such as a fully integrated touch user interface and exclusive game modes like Team Deathmatchplus it is expected that only launches with 10 legends.

The entire Apex Legends experience can be fully enjoyed on mobile

Although the graphics of Apex Legends on console have been improving and are benchmarks in quality when playing the PC version, the shooter will be well optimized for mobilesince there will not be so many requirements to play it on iPhone:

  • iPhone 6S or later.
  • iOS 11 or higher.
  • A9 processor or higher.
  • 4 GB free on storage.
  • 2GB of RAM.

At the moment you can already pre-register so you can install the game as soon as possible. Respawn Entertainment has mentioned that all players who pre-register will get prizes and gifts from day 1. At the moment the shooter is not available for pre-download on the App Store, but this can change at any time.

Apex Legends Mobile will be available to compete against other shooters that will also be released this year, such as Rainbow Six Mobile or Call of Duty: Warzone for iPhone. This is not counting the options that we are already playing such as Call of Duty: Mobile or Fortnite through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
