Spotify has already started testing support for NFTs on its platform. The streaming music service has released a feature where artists can add a gallery of non-fungible tokens to their profile. For now, this feature is only available in the profile of a few musiciansamong which are Steve Aoki Y The Wombats.


Y seeing them is very easyall you have to do is search the profile of these artists on Spotify and immediately you will meet the NFT window below your profile picture. Pressing this window will open the artist’s non-fungible token gallery where you can see all the NFTs they have on offer.

If you are interested in acquiring one, you just have to open the NFT and use the button See More. This will take you directly to Open Seaa store dedicated to the sale of these assets, where you can purchase the NFT of your favorite artist.

Will NFT galleries on Spotify reach other artists?

For now, Spotify has not revealed if this feature will reach more artists on the platform. What is known is that the streaming music service is not charging commissions for the sale of the NFTs that are advertised on its platform. It is very likely that the profiles of Steve Aoki and The Wombats are part of a beta phase of this function and that in the future it will be expanded to other musicians.
