Waze finally adds Apple Music to its audio player

Waze is finally ready to integrate Apple Music. The new feature comes a full five years after the popular navigation app Spotify did the same for Spotify, and means Apple Music customers can now access all of their favorite content through Waze’s built-in audio player.

Waze’s audio player lets you link to your favorite audio streaming service so you can control your music without having to switch between apps to enable safe driving.

Google-owned Waze tweeted a short video detailing how iPhone users can access Apple Music within its navigation app.

It added: “With direct connections between apps, you can now access Apple Music content directly from Waze Audio Player. Over 90 million songs, thousands of curated playlists, Apple Music Radio and more while navigating Enjoy. We’re thrilled to partner with Apple Music so that Apple Music subscribers can get their tunes while driving with Waze on their iPhone.

Waze automatically detects compatible music apps on your device and displays the audio player icon (a white musical note on a pink circle) on the map. If you can’t see it, make sure you have it turned on my way and then Adjustment, select aaudio player and S. turn onhow audio player,

In addition to Apple Music and Spotify, compatible music apps for Waze also include Amazon Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Pandora, and YouTube Music.
