Google Maps: use Street View on your iPhone to see what your street looked like years ago



One of the benefits of Google Maps is to be able to visualize the appearance of streets and avenues thanks to Street View, a tool that brings great novelty to devices iPhonebecause now we can visualize how the streets looked in years prior to 2022.

TUTORIAL TO ACTIVATE HISTORICAL STREET VIEW ON iPHONE

  • Open Google Maps on your iPhone device
  • Go to any location where street view is available
  • Press the button See more dates
  • Select any oldest street view offered
  • Done, Street View will show what the street looks like based on the year you chose

HOW TO CHANGE GOOGLE MAPS VOICE

  • First, make sure that Google Maps have no pending updates in the Android Google Play Store.
  • Now, open the application and click on the icon of your profile picture located in the upper right corner.
  • A new window will be displayed with several options, access the “Settings” or “Configuration”.
  • Then, tap on the “Navigation Settings” section.
  • In this part, look for the “Test sound” section so that you can hear the current voice you have in the app. Google Maps.
  • If you want to change it, click on “Voice selection” and choose “Spanish (Latin America)” or “Spanish (Spain)”, if you do not like either of them, keep the “Default option (Spanish)”.

Done, all that remains is to touch the “Voice selection” option so that you can confirm the changes in the voice, you can even modify the volume of the guide to “Lower”, “Normal” or “High”, it is a matter of taste.
