E3 2023 will return to full capacity, confirmed the physical and digital event

Months ago, to the chagrin of many gamers, the event was canceled E3 2022 (here our article), however with a large margin of 12 months in advance, the organizer of the event Entertainment Software Association announces that there will be a full return with in the 2023.

Stanley Pierre-Louis president e CEO from Entertainment Software Associationaddressing the Washington Post said there is great excitement for the 2023 return of the E3 event, which will be streamed or can be seen in person live.

As much as we love these digital events, and as much as they reach people and want to reach everyone globally, we also know that there is a strong desire for people to come together to meet, see each other, and talk about what makes video games great. .

Sadly, E3 in 2020 took a hit due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has virtually blocked any live event around the world. In subsequent years, the success of streaming events such as the State of Play by Sony oi Direct of Nintendo raised questions about the need to organize live events.

With the lack of an E3 event in 2022, other shows like the Summer Game Fest gave developers the opportunity to introduce their products to the world, without necessarily embarking on an expensive trip to Los Angeles.

All time Stanley Pierre-Louis added the following:

All companies are still trying to figure out the best way to promote a product or content, and I think there is still room for live entertainment.

Although Entertainment Software Association you seem totally confident of hosting an event both live and digitally in the 2023, no date has been announced yet. Typically the date of the next E3 event was revealed at the end of the current event, so it’s likely we’ll know more in the coming weeks.
