Samsung will fix a cracked screen on your Galaxy smartphone this month for just $50

We’ve all broken a screen at some point, and it’s not a particularly cheap fix. However, for a limited time, Samsung will repair a broken screen on a Galaxy smartphone for only $50.

Samsung Galaxy Screen Repair Just $50 . In

Running from June 13th to June 27th, Samsung is offering up to 80% off screen repairs for select devices. This brings the cost down to just $50 for some Galaxy screen repairs, which is an absolute steal.

However, Samsung has certain conditions for this promotion. This involves repairing damage to the front screen rather than just fixing the glass on the back. Any water damage or replacement of PBA (Product Board Assembly, aka Motherboard) is also not covered.

Promotion only applies to direct mail-in repairs through Samsung – you can’t get a $50 screen repair through authorized Samsung Galaxy repair partners such as Best Buy or uBreakiFix. Only US residents are eligible.

Samsung further explains:

To be eligible for promotion, the frame of the device, the area around the display meeting the frame bezel, must be free of dents or deep scratches around the edge of the device and the frame must not be bent. To be eligible for the promotion, customers must have a Samsung account and initiate the repair process through the Samsung website using the mail-in service option. This promotion is not available to be redeemed at any Samsung walk-in service repair location.

Which equipment is eligible?

Of course, you’ll also need your Galaxy smartphone to be part of the promotion for your $50 screen repair. Here’s which models qualify:

  • Galaxy S9/+
  • Galaxy S10/+/5G
  • Galaxy S10e
  • Galaxy S20/+/Ultra
  • Galaxy S21/+/Ultra
  • Galaxy S22/+/Ultra
  • Galaxy Note 9
  • Galaxy Note 10/+
  • Galaxy Note 20/Ultra
  • All Galaxy A Series

Samsung is particularly understanding of this problem, except for all its foldable devices. Galaxy Z Fold and Flip devices are excluded, and strangely, the Galaxy S20 FE and S21 FE are also not part of the program. Lastly, anything released before the Galaxy S8, as well as not all Galaxy J devices, qualify.

You can schedule a repair now on Samsung’s website.
