In an interview published today, Bethesda creative director Todd Howard revealed the studio’s future plans. The Elder Scrolls 6 Comes out, the next game from the studio will be fallout 5, the next main entry in the company’s post-apocalyptic open-world RPG franchise. However, considering how long it takes Bethesda to make these big games, don’t expect an RPG to launch any time in the near future.

during an interview with IGN, Howard very clearly and openly stated what Bethesda Game Studios is going to be working on for the next few years. Notably, the plan is currently to end 2023. starfield and start working more on its next entry Elder Scrolls Chain, The Elder Scrolls 6, which Howard explained, is currently in pre-production. Then, after that, the studio would focus on Result 5.

G/O Media may get commission

To be clear, this isn’t the first time Howard has spoken fallout 5, In fact, it’s not even the first time he’s spoken IGN About the next game in the popular RPG series. Last year, during a separate interview with the outlet, Howard revealed that the studio had an idea of what fallout 5 Will, but did not elaborate more or share any details about the game.

,ConflictIt’s actually part of our DNA here,” Howard explained. IGN in 2021. “We’ve worked with other [developers] From time to time – I can’t say what’s going to happen. You know, we have a pager on Fallout 5, what we want to do.”

However, during that interview, Howard was less clear on the timeline. now we know that fallout 5 will actually be released later The Elder Scrolls 6, and it likely means fallout 5 Oh will be around… let’s say, 2035. If you’re lucky.

The Elder Scrolls 6 The first one was officially revealed during E3 2018 with a short teaser, and we haven’t heard basically anything else about the game since then. last mainline Conflict Play, fallout 4Was released back in 2015.

Howard told IGN today that he wished they could accelerate these games and, like many of the studio’s biggest fans, he was disappointed with waiting so many years between each game. But he explained that it is part of the process and necessary.

Howard admitted, “They take a while, I wish they’d come out faster, I really do.” “We’re trying as hard as we can, but we want them to be the best for everyone.”

Now the real question is will The Elder Scrolls 6 either fallout 5 Will they launch on PlayStation consoles in the future or will they only be on Xbox and PC? (I know the answer, and Bethesda fans who only play games on PlayStation consoles probably won’t like it…)
