Orange reaches an agreement with DAZN to offer football, MotoGP and Formula 1

Little by little it is being revealed on which platforms we can enjoy LaLiga. We know that Movistar and DAZN have the rights for the next five seasons, and that the orange operator was also interested. Now we can confirm that Orange has reached an agreement with DAZN to offer all football, MotoGP and Formula 1 matches

As indicated in a press release, Orange has reached an agreement with DAZN to distribute its service within the Orange TV content offer. It should be remembered that DAZN does not have the rights to all the days, since Movistar is the one that has the rights, but let us remember that the CNMC forces it to sell the rights to other alternative operators, and Orange is interested in offering all the football, for what is clear that it will be so.

Orange TV customers will be able to enjoy all LaLiga matches

As they have indicated, this alliance will include some of the best international football competitions (Premier League, UWCL, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, FA Cup, Copa Italia or MLS), a complete multi-sport offer (MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, F1, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague or Matchroom boxing evenings), as well as a wide original programming with documentaries and other special formats.

In this way, Orange TV customers will be able to access all DAZN sports content starting in August. To do this, Orange TV decoders will have a specific linear channel for it. You can also use the DAZN app, as well as the version for smart TVs and phones or tablets.

Nacho García-Legaz, CEO of Orange TV: “For Orange it is very important to continue advancing in its strategy to make Orange TV the largest aggregator of audiovisual content in the Spanish market. Football is high-value content and a loyalty factor for our customers. For this reason, we are very proud to have reached this alliance with DAZN, which will allow us to continue being one of the few operators in Spain that offers not only the best cinema and series entertainment, but also the best football, and now, in addition , other content that is highly valued by customers, such as Formula 1, Moto GP or the Euroleague basketball”.

Bosco Aranguren, General Director of DAZN Spain: «We are very pleased to announce this new agreement with Orange, which represents an important step in DAZN’s growth strategy in Spain. This alliance, which will further boost the consumption of sports via streaming, reinforces our commitment to bring top-level sports competitions to the greatest number of fans in an easy, flexible and innovative way.”

Regarding the prices that Orange TV will have, we invite you to go through this article where we tell you what it will cost you to watch football. It is true that the rates may vary, but at least we can get an idea of the rates.

With this move, Orange TV is positioned as one of the best alternatives to Movistar Plus+ if you want an operator that offers you the main sporting events in our country. . All this, thanks to its agreements with the main audiovisual providers, both national and international, to add new content to its offer and become one of the best platforms in the sector.

Now we just have to wait until next August to confirm how the DAZN linear channel will work in order to watch all football, MotoGP and F1 through Orange TV. And the agreement with Movistar Plus +? We know that there are already contacts between the two companies, so it is only a matter of time before they reach some kind of agreement.
